AKTI apps with knives ...

Sal, hope you are having a Happy Birthday Today!

I see that Les de Asis at Benchmade is now having AKTI apps put in the boxes with the new knives. Have you and Spyderco started this practice too? If not, do you have any intentions on doing this? Just curious because when I got my Wegners a few weeks ago there were not any in the boxes. I ordered a few more of these Wegners as a favor for a few BladeForum members and I put an AKTI app in each one of the boxes with the knives I ordered for them. Haven't heard from them on to whether they joined or not, but I'm sure this practice really boosts the possibility of adding new members to AKTI!

Had one enclosed with my Military when I received it in April.

I really would like to join AKTI even if I'm not an American. I would feel proud to put an AKTI Membership Number in my signature...

Mark - I believe we put out about 140,000 from last Oct. AKTI ran out or brochures. Need more members and more bread to make more brochures. This organization is quite an undertaking and I have a great deal of respect for those making it happen.
