AKTI member discount

Wouldn't it be nice if we could convince knife dealers to give a small discount to card-carrying members of AKTI at the point of purchase? Perhaps that would help generate an influx of new members.

Are you thinking 25%? 30%? Maybe 40%? Any frequent flyer miles involved?

It is actually a good idea. NRA members often get a variety of discounts at certain businesses; it'd be nice to see dealers show similar support for AKTI members, even if the discount were minimal. It would certainly generate interest in the organization if the store window sported a decal or sign advertising "AKTI Discount Valid Here".
