Al Mar "Back Up"

Anyone have one? Either the "Back Up #1, Tanto Blade" or the "Back Up #2, Hawkbill blade"?

They're definitely designed as back up/self defense type knives. Look good but I've yet to handle one.

I know there are countless options/other brands out there so I'm not looking for "I would get a so-and-so insted. Rather, I'd just like to hear about this model please. Also, please reserve any comments about Aus-8 steel.

Anyone with experience please chime in.

Out of the two, I would choose the Tanto myself.
