I shipped a knife to Al Mar a month ago for repair. I emailed them a week ago to make sure they got it and wondering if they knew the progress on the knife. I still haven't heard back from them. I was wondering if this is normal for them or if I should be concerned.
Thanks,

Al Mar.

I don't recall ever hearing anyone say anything about their customer service.

Hm.

Hopefully someone will chime in or, else, you'll be the first to post something about it.

As a regular, run-of-the-mill end-user and knife enthusiast, i was AMAZED that Gary Fadden(CEO of Al Mar Knives) answered the phone when i called Al Mar Knives for help with a very minor issue of finding a certain sheath.

Mr. Fadden not only personally helped me, but was extremely friendly and easy to communicate with. It's rare when the No. 1 guy in ANY business as well-established as Al Mar Knives directly participates in day-to-day customer service. It's remarkable that the Boss does it *most* of the time!

If you're thinking about buying a higher-end knife, go with Al Mar. You'll love the quality of knife, and the customer support is bar-none kickass!

Maybe you should try ring Al mar.
