A few pics and specs .

Discontinued older model .

Steel 440C (If I´m not mistaken)
Length/open 18cm , closed 10cm , blade 8cm, edge 7,3cm.
Blade thickness , 2mm , handle thickness 10mm
Weight 105grams
Made in Seki , Japan.

Construction , brass liners under brushed stainless handle ,
no clip , got a lanyard hole and a nail nick .

Cordura sheath with Al mar´s chop .

Fit and finish was very nice, so no complaints there , shaving sharp out of the box.

A small slim gentleman type of folder , opens and closes very smoothly .

It´s only my second Al Mar , the other being a Nomad , I can see more purchases in the future, they are very nice knives .

Great pics.

I have never seen a Al Mar Falcon with a stainless steel handle.

Got an Al Mar Shrike recently and I am starting to like it.

The Nomad looks good on paper, I was wondering if you could post a review on the Nomad if possible please?

Thanks

Lets see if this can be of any help !

It´s also the first stainless Falcon I have seen in person , but I do have a German knife catalog from 1995 where one is pictured .

I´ll do a mini-mini review for you .

The Nomad is very well built , and it got pretty decent ergonomics , the choil is a bit small , so if you got very large fingers this might not be the knife for you ,

I did find the liners a bit sharp to the touch , so
I ran a white spyderco 701 rod over them , problem solved

I have large hands and it fits me , still , you might want to feel the knife in hand before you buy it ,

Steel is VG-10 and flat ground , a very thin and extremely sharp edge ,reminds me a bit of the spyderco VG-10 FRN caly jr , also a well known "scalpel", The action is silky smooth and the lockup is solid , no blade play in any directions .

The knife´s design is very original , but since you already have a Shrike
, you probably know what I mean .

A few specs.

Lenght 18,5cm , blade 7,5cm , blade thickness 3mm, handle thickness 12mm.

Side by side .
