Alright. The newbie is posting again.

I was just wondering if any of you guys know about old Al Mar knives. I have one that I bought back in high school about 6 years ago or so. The entire thing is metal, blade and handle. The blade is about 4" long, and the handle is polished and skeletonized diagonally.

Anybody know anything about this knife? I just remember buying it cause I thought it looked really cool, wasn't exactly the brightest guy back then.

Sounds like you have either one of the 3 variations of the Quicksilver models.

Model I- plain edge
Model II- part serrated
Model III- with pocket clip

All retailed for about $55 in the mid 90' s.

Ok. I did a search on that Quicksilver and found this on Ebay.

The knife I have is extremely similar, except it doesn't have that lever deal at the bottom of the handle, it has a semi curved handle instead of a straight one, and it has more slots. Does this sound like the first variation of the Quicksilver?
