I was cleaning out some stuff around the house and found a page that I had ripped from an old catalog (Cutlery Shoppe?). On it was the Al Mar Gunstock folder. I recall falling hard for it, but didn't have the money at the time. I really love the sleek look and blade shape. Anyway, I never got my hands on one but was wondering if anyone has info on them.

Is it still in production (just not in the US)? Any leads to where I might track one down?

I bought mine about five years ago, it's a very nice knife very well made and a leather sheath that looks like a pistol holster, very nice package. I don't remember what I paid for it. It has been out of production for five years.

I see them on e-bay occasionally. They go for about $120-$150 if I remember right.

Clint,

That seems about right, I think that I paid around $150.00 new. Also there is a Gunstock V (5) which is a fixed blade, it is my favorate of all the Al Mars it also comes with a pistol sheath.
