What's up with the Al Mar Gunstock?

No longer available. I wonder though if they are still made in Japan and just not imported here any longer 'cuz I e-mailed a knife store/supplier, whatever in Japan and they said they had 'em for about $150 if memory serves correct. I saw the fixed blade version for sale in U.S. recently by an online knife retailer. I think they wanted a tad under $400.

I just always thought they were cool knives. I like ho the sheath is tied in with the whole "Gun" motif.

Just wondering if anyone had any, that's all.

I have two of the folders. Bought them for $75.00 apiece when they came out, thought that was expensive.
