I'm really liking the design and size of this knife but the lack of pocket clip is killing it.

Has anyone tried fitting the lanyard hole pocket clip from the larger Falcon model onto the Hawk? Are there any custom pocket clip options out there for the Hawk?

Both my Al mar ultralights came with a side reversible clip. Does your lanyard hole have threads?--KV

I have an older Hawk. It did not come with a pocket clip.

I carefully drilled and tapped three holes into the back spacer for some 1-72 screws. The holes went through one scale and through most of the back spacer. Used a bottom tap to cut the threads to get the most threads I could. The lanyard hole is partially covered by the clip they way I mounted it. The clip is 2 3/16" long attached to the non show side of the knife, tip up carry.

The screws have held up very well. I have accidentally bent the clip a couple of times with no damage to the screws or holes.

THe Hawk is a great little knife. One of my favorites. Light and slim, it almost disappears in your pocket. They are excellent slicers.

You might consider picking up a slip pouch with pocket clip, like so...

This is a house brand slip sheath made by Sharpshooter that I picked up from Knives Ship Free. I like it! Otherwise, maybe look at getting the slightly bigger Al Mar Falcon that comes with a clip attached.

Good luck! :)
