just bought two Al mar heavy duty knives. one with blue G10 and the other with orange G10 the earth color is impossible to find. I paid $165 ea. I will come back with a review if anyone wants me two. I will re-sell them on ebay. I am tommy5586 on ebay. I buy sell trade and collect knives for the last ten years. I retire in 3 years from 3M company and will travel to knife shows around the country and bring some nice stuff back to sell on-line. I owned a Spyderco Techno knife that I bought for $153 nib and re-sold it because I hate that blue g10 spacer on the back, and now I can't find one for less then $180. If anyone buys this knife they will love it. I also can't find one review on this knife less then full stars! So if there is someone looking to buy their first knife for over $100 you will be happy to own one of these technos. I even saw someone selling different color spacers for the knife, but I would not be taking that knife apart to change the spacer, I read where someone stripped a screw doing it, so unless I could send it back to spyderco to do it I would stick with the blue spacer. Also, spyderco choose to have the knife made in Taiwan.......Dumb! if that knife was made in the USA or Japan it would sell for double the price. It would not be any better made but its common sense why it woulf sell for more. Spyderco is the only knife company I know that could have a knife made in China and sell for over $100 so that tells you a little something about spyderco quality, its the best out there. thanks tommyd P.S. this is my first post, I hope it wasn't that hard to understand, I do jump around but always get to the point.n : )
