My house was recently robbed and along with all of my fly fishing gear, they walked off with my knife. I have searched for hours on the internet but no luck finding my exact knife. I need to find a model number and photo (and one for sale hopefully!) for my insurance company...any help would be appreciated.

what I know...the knife is some sort of sof attack, about 12-14 inches long, wood handle(micarta?) like the one in the link below but serrated on the top, but only for a short length....less than some of the photos Ive found..
thanks in advance

Sorry to hear about your break-in.

Could it be one of the early 1980s version Al Mar SERE VIII 3008. Though, without the Bob Valade engraved bolster and checked scales.

Very desirable and the largest fixed blade Al Mar produced. 12.5" OAL with 7" blade.
