I bought an Al Mar Mini Sere, from Bonds House of Cutlery in Las Vegas. They have an incredible selection of fine knives there. We got lucky at craps and bought some knives with the winnings. It's always better to buy stuff you like than to lose the money back at the tables, in my opinion. The Mini Sere is a very nice knife. After checking out many knives at Bonds, I chose the Al Mar knife. It has one of the tightest lock-ups and overall great feel, of any knife in production. After a few months of carring it, I snapped off the pocket clip on a chair. I called Al Mar Knives and spoke to a gentleman there. He took my name and address, and mailed me out a new pocket clip at no charge. I am very pleased with their products and their customer service. I will continue to do business with these people and recommend Al Mar to other knife lovers.

It's a beautiful looking blade.

I have a mini-SERE and a Nomad. Their F&F is as good as any production knife I've seen and their blades are as sharp and well finished as any I have.

i will be buying more al mars that's for sure! I can't get enough vg-10.
