I have been working in the hospital for a while and have to carry a very public friendly knife. In fact, when I go onto the psych unit, I have to leave it at my desk.
I acquired a GEC 62 and have had it faithfully. I recently saw the Al Mar Osprey with the MOP scales and ordered as a back up. It came today thanks to New Graham Pharmacy. (If you have been around for a while, you know my appreciation for these folks)
What a great little gentleman's knife. Closed, is is about 3/4 of my pinky. Razor edged. Great quality. My GEC is a little bigger than my middle finger and a great knife with the white micarta scales. What a great quandary to have each day I get up for work. If others have some little Al Mar lockbacks, please share. Much love my brothers.

I have one in Black MOP. Unfortunately Ospreys are smaller than I like, so it's reserved for dressy occasions. Much nicer than a SAK Classic.
Al Mar really had great knives before the recent Chinese made run. Just great examples of factory made high end fit and finish.

A case could be made for the Al Mar Hawk.
Seki made versions can still be found floating around are bigger than the Osprey but much smaller than the Falcon :-)
