Yes...strong chopper but a godawful uncomfortable grip...IMHO

A BKT Machaxe or Brute is money better spent.

i had one years ago.......very wide grip, even for my hands ( and im 6'5" )
but very nice chopper, with heaps of power....... but i wouldnt trust the hollow ground edge for serious long term use .... especially on hardwoods.

I loved that knife when I was a kid, then I got to handle one, the grip is horrible. Also, a small lot of the older ones had a heat treat/edging problem, that caused a lot of chipping.
