I know that they are offspring from the earlier PATHFINDER series.

Does anyone have any experience with them?

I am looking ar getting the "smaller" one for backup use in one of my Bug-Out-Boxes...

Thanks Jeff,

I already have a couple of big outdoor knives...BUSSE BM-E, and BECKER BRUTE.

The PATHMAKER looks pretty cool, but looks aren't everything.

I would be looking for a "stainless" steel blade to keep as a back up at my retreat.

I'll go pick up that issue after work.

Much thanks.

I went to your site for the first time today.
You got a lotta good info in there.
Nicely laid out too.

The closest I've come to Jungle Training was a couple of weeks at 8K' in Colorado, or 1 week at -150' in the swamps of Louisiana.

I'll keep a look for the mag.

Thanks again.

MR. WEBSTER defines "genius"as...exceptional natural capacity for creative and original concepts. In my opinion, the Laser Strike reflects that definition, at least on paper.

I have one on order with Jeff and I can hardley wait to place it in my hand and then get to work. I believe, based on accumulated knife experience to date, the genius of this design on paper WILL match its reality in the field.

If you cannot wait until the article appears on the news stand, Jeff's website posted above provides a good introduction.

Jeff..are all the serial numbered Laser Strikes gone? If not, I'll have to get a second one for my TOPS knife collection. I think this cutting instrument is going to be a winner for a long time to come.

All Laser Strikes will have a unique serial number. The lot that we are waiting on from TOPS should be here in about 4-6 weeks according to a conversation I had with Mike Fuller yesterday. These will also have the TOPS name engraved in them along with the current logos and laser engraved information. Mike had asked if we wanted this and even though we are the only resource for these knives, I still thought it would be good to have the manufacturer's name on the knife also. As a side note, Mike and I are discussing a deal so folks can buy direct from TOPS. His dealers will not be able to sell them but you will eventually be able to buy direct from Mike.

Everyone needs to understand that these knives are going on a first come- first served basis. We have orders on the books now, and the only way to get the order on our books is to send your check in advance with all your information (see the website). No check - no reservation. So far, all orders we currently have on the books will be shipped with this first lot of knives due in 4-6 weeks and we still have about 20 knives of this first lot that do not have someone's name on them yet. So if you want one, now is the time.
