I am considering purchasing an Al Mar sere 2000 and was wanting input from those that have one or have used one. I am fed up with EKI and Benchmades are ok. I have the BM 710, 705, 940, 720, and EKI mach 1 and cqc7b. I love my mini afcks as well. Anyway, any input would be wonderful as to lock-up, edge design, durability, or anything that you think would be useful.

I would suggest you us the search function here to look up SERE 2000. You'll be reading for a long time:D

I have one that is made in Seki, Japan. It's a little heavy for my pockets but it is one heck of a folder. I just sold a second one that was made in Moki, Japan. The liner lock would not work and the G10 scales were "loose". I have heard of others getting theirs' with a Moki stamp on the blade and they had nothing to complain about. It must have been an early problem thats' been weeded out.
