Al Mar SERE 2000

Picked this knife up this afternoon. It is waaaaaayyyyyy scary sharp!

The lockup is solid as a rock, and it feels great in my hand. It carries real deep in my pocket as the clip mounts to the end instead of the side.

I have a pair of Al Mar SERE 2000, and I find them to be an excellent knife...It's MY favorite folder!..

Seeing that brand new Sere is making me want a new one! The blade is SO black! Mine is all beat to sh!t. The blade looks like one big grey scratch and the logo used to look like it said "AI MAP" instead of Al Mar. Now it looks worse than that. Here's a crappy pic. It doesn't even come close to showing how much 'character' this thing has.

Antdog, I think those user marks look good on it.

I now some guys who always have to have new gear...nothing wrong with that but they sometimes look like they're fresh out of Cabela's cataloge. Or as my local friends call them..."Nancy Boys"

I'm sure everyone of those user marks has a good story behind it.

Keep using that knife and hang on to it!
