Howdy,....Any one have this knife? I was offered a good deal on this blade in their S30v version. Would it make a good all around carry blade? Thanks, Robo
 
Handle scales and sheath are made of prylon. It's similar to zytel, it looks and feels cheap for me. For that price it should be Kydex and G10/Micarta.
Handle is ergonomically contoured but oversized, not very comfortable for me, probably designed for use with gloves.
Blade is thin and has big false edge, so tip looks fragile.
Knife's well made, but it wasn't my type of knife, I got rid of it.
 
I have one of the first run versions, in 154CM steel. Very well made knife and cool design. I too, disliked the plastic handle slabs(they unscrew and come off easily, though). Mine is currently in the process of rehandling with something a bit nicer.
 
Thanks for your replys. I have since ordered one in S30v for $106. with shipping which I think is reasonable. I might change the handles....will have to wait and see if I like the stock ones. I am now saving up for either a ZT 0100 or a Fallkniven A1......in the research process.....might get both?? Thanks again, Robo
