I was considering picking one up as a utility/backpacking knife. Does anyone have any reviews?

Unfortunately, I haven't used mine hard yet so don't have a formal review. However, I picked mine up specifically as a fighter. It's pretty nimble in the hand. Whether it would work well as a backpacking knife would depend on your idea of a backpacking knife, I guess. I tend to like smaller fixed blades with very thin edges for utility uses when camping/backpacking (food prep, etc), and much bigger blades for working wood and the like. I do sometimes take the SERE on hikes, though have used it only for light use. It definitely "feels" like good quality.
