Al Mar SERE purchase...

Hello. I was wondering if any of you have bought an Al Mar SERE for cheaper than $116.00 (Top of Texas Knives). That is the absolute cheapest price I have found for this knife(if you include S&H plus insurance, the total comes to $123.50!). I was actually expecting to find it for even cheaper, but figured that the price was due to shortage and quality. Similar quality knives (Spyderco Military and Starmate come to mind) can be found for less but that's because they are readily available from a myriad of dealers.

So, has anyone found one for cheaper than $116.00 starting price?

P.S. As for Paracelsus, please don't lock this thread as it "discusses" a specific knife and I need maximum exposure to get the most responses. This specific forum serves my purposes well.

That is the best price I have found. Of course I think there is a shortage of supply. A lot of people seem to have them on backorder.

I bought mine from Bayou LaFourche. The guy who runs it, I cant think of his name off hand, but, he pretty much is the man. I got it for 120$ shipped. Thats a savings for 3.50. Bayou is the way to go.

I just bought one for $100 from the exchange forum. This was from an individual who bought it, and then decided he didn't really need it. That was a good price.
