I was just curious about the steel of the blade for an AMK small quicksilver. So far ive found THREE different "opinions" on what it is. Ive always assumed it was the A6 that he used for most of his early knives, but ive heard that its 440c, and another says its ats34. If some one could tell me what it REALY is Id appriciate it. Also, ive heard that they call them the "secret service" modeles instead of quicksilver, but then again it was on some forien site!

All I can tell you for certain is mine is not marked with a steel type and it never held an edge worth a darn. It was the most dissapointing Al Mar I have ever had.
