I have been trying to find a source for the ultra soft dark brown leather slips that Al Mar provided with their folders. I have older folders that I purchased in the 1980's that were supplied with these nice buttery soft slips. I like them much better than my Chris Reeves pouch for my Mnandi. I have emailed Al Mar many times without a reply. Does anyone know who might have made these pouches for Al Mar or any possible sources? Thanks! Dave

I use a William Henry slip w/ clip for my Mnandi. I wish I could help you out with the Al Mar ones.

To piggy back on TKC - William Henry has both the knife slips & clip pouches.

I to carry my mnandi in a slip case with clip, definitely the way to go.

I use the WH sheaths too but the Al Mar's are so soft and mold to the knife. It doesn't feel like there is a sheath in your pocket. I use mine to carry my vintage Victorinox in my left pocket and my clip knife in my right pocket.

tom2: I'll check out the Oxblood product.

Thanks again! Dave
