Al Mar Ultralight series. Old ('98?) same as new ones?

There's an older Al Mar ultralight Falcon for sale, supposedly from 98ish. Are they that old? Has the profile, design, or materials changed since then? These seem to be well thought of. Opinions of the series?
 
I have an Ultralight Falcon and it's a great little knife. Not sure about when they 1st came out, but that sounds about right.
