I'm looking for a very thin folder and I came across the Al Mar Falcon ultralight. Anyone has experience with said knife? How's the Aus-8 steel and would the blade flex at all due to the 1/16 thickness? How's the micarta handle (no experience with micarta whatsoever)? and I see there is no jimping on the spine so I'm not sure if the handle is gripping enough, because I'm used to the spyderco jimpings...... I tried but couldn't get the search function working in bladeforum for some reason, so any input of said knife will be very appreciated :o

You will love that folder. It's a nice, light, tuff knife. I don't see the need for jimping. Micarta is tuff as it is appealing. Get one.

Ok you got me excited :p

Will the blade or handle flex at all? None of my spyderco has flexing blade but they are generally thicker, except my Yang kitchen knife. I don't really want a "flexie" blade like a swiss army knife though

I have the big brother, the automatic eagle with the aluminum scales, I love that knife, EDC carry as the deep backup.
