I have one of the big honkin Al Mar Warriors with the black blade and the blackened guard with the wide top "ear" I bought it new back in the day and it have never been used or sharpened as far as I can remember. The box is a bit htreaworn from storage, but the sheath is perfect. It has one or two little rubs spot on the blade finish from the sheath and the name is kinda faded, whihc it was pretty much from the day I got it. The "Japan" etch on the ricasso is still fairly clear. I thnk that they tried to etch over the coating and it wasn't all that successfull because some other ones I have seen don't have the name visible on the blade.My camera went on the fritz, so I will try to post pics tomorrow. I have seen them for as much as $700 for the satin finished ones and $500 for the black models. I would ask $400. Anyone interested?
