I bet that the new tactical fixed blade being offered by Al Mar in 154CM, made in the USA, is manufactured by Camillus. Is this why Camillus has been slow to offer the 3/16" Becker Companion we would all like to see?

If it is made on contract for Al Mar it's not likley that
Camillus will admit to it. They respect the contract
agreement terms of "No Tell" on who, their contract
customers are.

Same deal as the BRK Spydie post in here... don't expect them to admit anything.

AG,
Sent you an email, is the address still the same?
As for Camillus doing contract work, I just figure it is their business. It must be pretty good business as well because a lot of Carbon V knives are still selling. Of course this is but a simple assumption and I wouldn't ask the folks at Camillus to disclose an internal business matter. I mearly raises my confidence in the quality of any other company's blade made of Carbon V. I haven't heard anything about 154CM blades from Camillus. I don't know if they even work with it.

"if it were, wouldn't there be a US mark on it as opposed to Japan?"

Apparently, when I wrote this they were being made here.
