Al Mar?

Does anyone know what the Al Mar logo means? I can't seem to find a description of it anywhere.

I have read that the logo means HORSE..which was als birth sign..I dont know if this is correct

Thanks! The right half of the logo does look like a very archaic variation of the kanji for horse... but I'm still at a loss about the rest of it. The bottom left might be mori, for forest?

I've never been disappointed by an Al Mar knife.

The Al Mar logo is the personal name stamp of the late founder of Al Mar Knives.

Read from right to left and up and down, the three Chinese characters or Kanji reads as "Ma" (uma) (horse) "Guo" (kuni) (country) "Sen" (mori) (forest). "Ma" being the family name and "Guo" "Sen" the first name. Hope this helps.

Also, Al Mar folders are very good as I have a Shrike
