Has anyone purchased a custom knife from Al Pendray in the damascus that he is making and what is your experience and opinion of his work and his customer service. Thanks for the info.

I bought a folder from him at a knife show. Beautiful piece, reasonably priced. My impression is that he has a really long waiting list. I've never had any customer service issues, but in talking to him at the show, he seemed like a really nice guy and very knowledgeable and helpful.
