Al Polkowski knives

I have a couple of Polkowski knives. They are top quality. He usually sells out very fast when he displays at a show.

David,

I am Al's biggest dealer. What do you want to know?

I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken.

Les,
I like his knives very much. I particulary like his Body Guard and the new Wart Hog. I was wondering whether he would make for example Wart hog without the false edge.

Les, is there much of a collector market for Al's knives? I need to raise some cash and have an unusual early model I'd be willing to part with for the right price. It is a modified drop point with a flat grind on one side and a concave grind on the other. Gray micarta handle. It originally came with a leather sheath with a belt clip. I later had Al make me a Kydex sheath so I have both. I forget what the model is called. Are you familiar with this particular piece?

It looks like ProEdge is becoming a good source for Polkowskis.

HI Guys,

Al is currently two +/- a month, years behind. The main reason is the quality of work for the money.

I have made arrangements with Al (placed a huge order 31 months ago) to receive his knives on a regular basis.

In fact he will be making 9 models in 440V exclusively for me.

If you go to my site you will see 14 different models of his knives. At this site you can place orders for his knives.

Currently, for most models I have back orders of 6-8 months. While this seems like a long time, it much better than a 2 year wait. Also, unlike other dealers mentioned in the thread, my prices are the same as Al's.

Please email me off line should you have any other questions.

Les

I understand that Al has made a folder or two and although I've only seen pictures, they must be superb. Any chance of a Polkowski folder coming up?
