Al Warren Knives

Does anyone have any experience with him or his work? I have one small pocket knife I bought from him at the Pasadena Knife show. So far, so good. I liked it enough that I orderd larger version with other materials from him and it is in the process of being made.

I haven't seen any reference to him on the forum at all. Just wondering if anyone has any experience in ordering a knife from him.

I have had a few of Al's folders,one of my fav's right now is a trapper he made for me.Rest assured,Al is a great guy who does clean work,at reasonable rates.I have one on order,and 3 knives so far all new designs!

He just finished a wharncliff and clip trapper in ivory with Koa wood between the scales and the liners and some great file work. Walk and talk is awsome and is my daily carry. Great work, finish and one great guy.

Al maintained 7/16" thickness,at the rear bolster,3/8" at the front,outside measurements.
Great EDC slipjoints,IMO.
