Al Warren made this for me.It came out really fantastic, and before I scratch it all up (hopefully not too bad),I figured I should post a few so - so pictures.
It has perfectly matched red deer stag scales, convex and thin,to keep the whole set up sleek in the hand and pocket.3-3/4" closed,2-7/8" drop pt. main blade (lockback !),2-1/2" wharncliffe secondary blade (slipjoint!),both satin finish flat ground S30-V.Nickel silver bolsters and liners ,and just Real Sweet.
Check Al out for your next pocketknife project,he is fantastic to work with, and delivers a great knife !

Very nice. Let us know how it does when it gets in your pocket.

Wiseguy
I did lightly carry it over the weekend a bit, and, got a teeny little scratch on one of the bolsters....It is always hard in the beginning. But it is nice and thin, fits nice right in the watch pocket, and, the S30V is like a razor.Al delivers his knives sharp...

Hey, I give you credit for actually using most of your nice knives. I'm a wimp when it comes to scratching something like that. I'd rather use my teeth.

Mike - and all,One of the beautiful things about Al Warren's knives, besides being beautiful themselves,is that he delivers them at a very fair price, witch is a good thing all around,purchasing,using,etc....

Vince - Thanks for the kudos! It is always an interesting project putting two systems into one knife, a lockback and slipjoint. I couldn't miss on matching the stag scales since I have 5 main beams of red deer stag that I'm cutting on.
Scratches... You should see the lockback I have been carrying in my pocket for 4 years... with my keys. But then it is a work knife with jigged bone scales.
Al

Al,It is my pleasure to display this little beauty via the way of pictures ,here in BladeForums.I try to do my best with the pictures, but there is nothing like holding it in your hand.Thank's Again for delivering such a perfect knife for me,
Vince

Vince, I just completed some research and discovered that red deer stag is from Europe and has smooth antlers. What I am using is RED STAG that comes from New Zealand. It has a wonderful texture and color as you can testify to.
Al

This is the same knife, but both blades are slipjoints, and the main blade a clip pt.
