I picked this up in a recent trade.I wanted to show you guys.Al makes a really nice knife,I have had a few others in the past, all real nice. This has NS bolsters (dovetailed) & liners,New Zealand red deer stag scles, flat ground & hand rubbed S30V SS blades.A 3-5/8" knife, comes in at a surprising 3/8" thick overall, makes it a sweet handmade carry, blades are clip - main & warncliffe & pen - secondary, witch all lay low closed, allmost sunk joints
Enjoy...

Nice pickup. I especially like the choice of the wharncliff and pen instead of the usual sheepsfoot and spey.

Very nice looking knife. I'd never heard of him until my wife told me, earlier this week, her boss went to see him and bought one of his knives.

Another nice knife. Stop it. Just stop it. Just kidding. Keep em coming.

Al is an extremely nice guy and does great work. I particularly like is single blade lock backs that make great EDCs... In fact, one he made years ago is what he carries. His copperhead is quite nice too.

Not too long ago I got to learn how to flat grind with him making a couple chef knives for work. I have had the intentions of doing my own knives since but have not yet gotten up to the task.

Ooh yeah! I like that a lot. Thanks for sharing pal.

Nice one Vince. I like what I've seen from Al too.

It's nice to know we have a talented knife maker in our area. And that they aren't all back in the Midwest and South. ;)

Al makes a great knife! I have two from him. One XL version of a 110 folding hunter. In my pocket now!
