Alabama damascus
1/4"- x 8 3/4" oal blade is 4 1/4" balanced just in front of first choil very pointy stabby tip.
Heat treated in Jason buda's even heat thanks as always bro
File worked Ti. sandwiched between to slice's of file worked black carbon fiber.
File work on the spine and handle
Buffed SS screws
On its way for leather. ( reason for no edge at this time )

The finish is very antiqued if thats the word for it, only the second piece i have done to date and the first i have etched so took some notes and maybe try some thing new next time

There is something about this style that appeals to me. It is certainly like none other that I have ever seen.

What the heck is "Alabama Damascus"?
 
"Alabama Damascus" is 5160/1018. It is made by a guy from Alabama. His name slips my mind at the moment. Anyway that is what he calls it. Looks great Spencer.

keith i have search hi and low and yet to see something close to this, to date i have sold 66 different hornet models the Xl being the best seller, have had one person like to return but after he spent some time with it decided to keep it. Some eary models are i guess time pieces ,more time at the grinder equals better grinds and overall fit and finish. Put that into time perspective , i cut the first hornet dec of 05 the design and i have progress some.

Thanks Mark i got your stuff badass, hate to say it but that black and pink is should i say Hot.

Black and pink? Errrrrrr...I didn't send any micarta that was black and pink...well unless I am even more color blind then I thought. Oh well enjoy either way!
