Well I have found out about my knife, it was made in 1976 and etched by Aurum Etching a run of 250 knives mine is number 11. They made a set of 4 different knives for the State of Texas Republic. I have found a picture of President Ronald Reagan receiving one from Samuel R. Shortes President & Founder of Aurum Etching in the Oval office at White House in 1976. Consequently after his death the knife is now on display at his President Library in CA. There is another Alamo Bowie on display at the Alamo Museum In San Antonio, Texas. Michael Wayne oldest son of John Wayne bought two Alamo Bowies one for himself and one for his father bought. The ones of you that said it made be a China made knife and worthless I do not agree with you you need to do you home work.
