Beautiful! Blade shape reminds me of Phil Wilson. Love the file work.

Thanks. :D

The trailing point makes a great working blade, that's why I choice it. :)

And it's ground thin behind the edge at .015".

Will be my primary work knife once it gets here. :)

Blue is a friendly color. :)

So will it replace the S90 para 2?

I cut a TON of cardboard today with my s90 para2. First time I've really given it a workout. It surprised the hell out of me. After I was done I expected a toothy working edge. What I had was a slightly more aggressive shaving edge. It still shaved leg hair easily. No other knife has even come close to that. It made me grin from ear to ear.

I REALLY hope that 20CP compares to S90, because it's my favorite by far.

S90V is some awesome stuff.

I think it will do extremely well because it's ground so thin, after the testing I will know more.

Par for the course, I've come to expect nothing but the best when you post of pics of your knives. Your our quality control guy, if you have one the rest of us KNOW its good quality.

I really like that blade shape and file work, NICE.

congrats on another quality piece

Great look .. filework, blue .. what else you need .. on top of high quality steel ..

:D

Thanks. :D

At 3.4 oz it will be VERY light and with the Low Rider clip it should just disappear in my pocket.

I have a folder coming from Alan. It should be here sometime in October. It's not quite in the works yet. Fantastic flipper, m4, ti liners, and not quite sure about about

the scales yet. I'm thinking about dyed elk, sambar stag, or maybe Buckeye, Ironwood, or Redwood burl.

Alan does the file work gratus...takes him about 20 minutes. He's quite a guy. I talked with him for a couple hours the time we met.

Alan is teaching a class on flippers soon. A knifemaker with 45 years experience told Alan his flipper is the best he's ever seen. Quite a complement I'd say!

Very nice looking knife Jim. The file work is great. I really like the blue handle!

Alan told me a lot of guys order 2 or 3 knives from him once they get their first. This may not be the last knife from Alan.

It is AWESOME! I have another one done to my specs coming too. We should both get ours at the same time! My review and pics will be up later this week! Cant wait for your review Jim! Alan Davis is just AWESOME! Kevin :D:thumbup:

Jim, is that thumb stud going to be more susceptible to damage since it is sterling silver? Isn't sterling silver rather soft?

Very very nice. That pivot looks cool, kinda reminds me of the Umnum's pivot, or maybe the Zaan's pivot reminds me of this one's.
