Normally, I prefer Alan's linerlocks ... but, when I saw this one, I figured I should add it to the collection. What first attracted me to the knife was the Damascus. Loved the flow in the random pattern. Alan's file work is always great. For this one, he hand-carved the titanium frame and heat anodized it - giving it all the colors of the rainbow! Wasn't really sure this would appeal to me as much as some of his others, but once I received it, I thought WOW, I like it! Overall size is just what I like for an EDC knife with a blade length of around 3.25 inches.

And here it is with the other frame locks in the collection.

Thanks for the comments. The more I look at this one, the more I like it and appreciate great amount of time Alan spent heat anodizing the frame ... especially considering the closeness of some of the colors. I talked to Alan about this and it was definitely no quick pass of the the torch and a whiff of air to oxidize!!! We are talking hours of painstaking work. This one really makes for a unique addition to my Davis collection.
