Check out my new knife from Alan Davis. The steel is from an old misery whip 2 man-saw blade. The handles are gnarly stag with red liners. I just love the textures and old world look of this one. It seems like one that would be found on the belt of an old trapper or miner from a distant time.

Love the profile and how the texture on the handle compliments the texture on the blade.

Gnarley stag, brute-de forge blade texture, mosaic pins, overall profile and sheath all work together making this
a really fine piece. Great size and look for a fixed-blade carry knife.

The only thing I would have done different is black liners as opposed to red.

Congrats man!

I have a big folder from Alan with that kind of stag- not only gnarly but great grip as well. Don't let that one get away (unless to me that is!). :p
