Take a peek, if you also click on the picture in PhotoPoint, it brings up a REALLY large view of it, but it's sweeeeet!

Thanks Alan!

Congrat's, Gary and Alan! Eye-catching combination of materials. Post again when you finish the sheath!

Jackyl, the first one went home to papa, this one is more the size I had in mind when Alan and I started talking so I'm very happy with this arrangement, the first one is very nice, just too large for me, and has become Alan's everyday carry....

G2, that is a peach of a knife

. I must commend you on your photo skills. What type of lighting did you use to shoot the knife? How is the fit and finish? What is the blade length and OAL?

Thanks in advance, Keith

Keith, the honor goes to my very nice Epson 1200 scanner, the knife is laid on top with the brown cloth laid over the knife and I scanned it it...works pretty good eh?

Specs
Blade length is 2 3/4"
Overall is just about 7"
Fit and finish, locks up solid as any I've had, the opening is a little bumpy, from the ball bearing detent riding across the damascus I think. The mammoth scales are fairly well matched, on the opposite that you can't see there is a slight gap between the bolster and the scale material, but nothing too objectionable, the mammoth is great looking!
Showed a lady at work today, said `Look at the Wooly Mammoth Ivory scales'
She said `Aren't they on the endangered species list?' I tried hard not to bust out laughing....she is going for her masters degree.....I told her `Uh no, they have been extinct for quite some time'
Oh well!

Gary,

Very nice!

...you are very lucky that the woman at work didn't offer to show you her Wooly Mammoth!!

Be careful what you show... to whom....
