I recently purchased an Alan Folts Custom Utility Folder from an online retailer, and it was found to have pivot problems. The pivot was loose and the blade touched the non-locking-side liner when closing. This was a bummer because I really liked the shape and size of the knife. So, rather than return it for credit, I contacted Alan by e-mail about the issue. He offered to upgrade the pivot to his current one. He did just that, and got the knife back to me in a week. The new pivot was even anodized to match the liner. The knife now functions well and looks great. Nice work and great customer service - a refreshing combination. Thanks Alan!
