Some nice pieces of work there Rick. Although it's always baffled me why so many British makers make knives without guards. Wonder why?

Ian

Very nice Rick, especially like the damascus pieces.
I have wondered the same thing as Ian?

Mannlicher, Yes I know Lance, in fact I got four of his knives, they are very well made too.
Kevin and Ian, I don't know why the British makers don't put guards on either but in the new year I should have two knives with guards that I have comissioned from both Alan and Stu, also Russell White and Chevin are doing a couple for me and I am expecting one from a certain Mr I R Bailey but I think that one is some away from being delivered!!!
Heres another one for your perusal I think you will like it.

I take it you never got my message about the Moran style?

I've seen a lot of Allan Wood's work. It's always great to get to see more though. Stuart Michell is a maker that I have not heard of, so thanks for showing us some of his work.

Keith, Stuart Mitchell's knifemaking skills are held in high esteem over here, he really does some nice stuff. He is a comes from a family of cutlers and he is second generation,
his father Pat was a noted and very well repected Sheffied cutler (Google him). Stuart will be making me a couple of knives after xmas in the style of Bob Loveless's Shute knives but slightly altered, I will post them when they are finished.
