Well now, boys and girls. Alan's extra large Bowie knife is now completed and enroute the great state of Texas. It's over 17 inches long! I told him that I would post a photo before I mailed it, so true to my word, VIOLA! Enjoy it, Alan.

Picture works for me. So glad you posted it, been anxious to see it.

Looks might fine.

If I knew a word that could adequately express my admiration I would use it. But the only word that comes to my vocabulary challenged brain is "HOLY FREAKING WOW!" OK that's 3 words, I guess I'm going to have to add counting as one of my other "challenges".

Love that blade. The whole thing is gorgeous but I love that blade. Is that a full flat grind? Looks like it but may just be the angle of the picture.

Dayum! Thats downright purdy! Love the way you did the choil! Beautiful Pattern doc! You done way way good on that steel! Wow! Mr B. You done the same! I know this was a tag team. That is just nothin but slick as heck and thats coming from a born and raised Texan! Grats Alan and all the artist involved:thumbup::p

Actually I was taken out of the game and put on the bench on this one.

Bookie took the ball and ran it into the end zone all by himself. If I was closer I'd dump a cooler of ice water over his head, he done real gud on this one.

That's almost precisely what I had envisioned for a handle but I think he did it better.

No flat grind here! Just appears to be in this photo.

Whew! I mean I know there are tasks a flat grind is useful for, but it just isn't a grind I usually associate with what is obviously a top of the line Bowie. :D
