This is a new model that I finished up for a good friend at work. She has a friend in Alaska who fishes a lot and needs a large fillet knife of good quality.
Well, I think that 12" of blade and 16" overall should suffice
Model- Alaska Fillet
Steel- S35VN Bos Heat treat at 60 Rc.
Blade length- 12" Overall 16"
Thickness- .070
Handles- SS bolts and tubing
Sheath- kydex slip sheath
Very useful in a pinch grip
Nice and thin! Grinding these can be really fun!
I have one more that is going to get orange handles after I hand sand it. Dan
Thoughts?
