I had a good customer in Alaska want to add another knife to his Andersen Forge arsenal.
His interest was in a substantial "back-up" blade for when in the bush.
She's a pretty basic platform Andersen Forge W2 knife.
I really wanted to show you what my good friend and sheath maker Scott Teaschner came up with to tote this thing around!
He was the first to admit to me that the customer's input was as important as anything else.
The customer's ideas lead him to this:
(The two points of contact keep the sheath/knife at a constant angle without being uncomfortable like a pancake stye, or floppy like a single loop.) And looks like she's built tough!!
