Alaskan Guide 119

I've only seen the 119 with the cocobolo handle. Who's got the S30V Alaskan guide series version? Can't see it at Cabela's, I've been told the "Alaskan Guide Series" was exclusive to them. Myth(?).

I found it on Cabela's website. It'll show up if you do a search for Buck 119. It's a very nice looking knife, but at $180 it's a bit rich for my blood.
 
Wow, how cool is that! I've been waiting for that one for some time, It's in the catalog. That will be my next must have and will need to change the wood for some nice stag!

Thanks, funny that they didn't have it linked yet to the other AGS knives. I suppose they just need time. If I was in the market for a 6 inch fixed blade this deserves a hard look.
 
Can't wait to get this ,I'll retire my old ag 110 from the lobster boat and bring this sucker to cut the huge baitfish!
 
Ya know what the funny thing is? When I ordered my AG 110, I was thinking I wish they had an AG 119. I like the 119. Everytime I'm in Walmart and see it on the wall it tempts me. The only thing is, I don't have any real need for a fixed blade knife. The 110 is big enough for all my cutting needs. But that nitrided S30V steel... :cool: If I can scrounge up an extra $200 someday, I'll probably get it. :D
 
Oh man I just looked it up. WOW!!!!! I will say its interesting how they did the AG logo. I don't know. I might have to get that one. I've said for some time I'd like to collect the AG's but only have the 2 stag 110's. This would be a nice piece in any collection imho. I just added it to my Cabelas wishlist.
 
Do a Cabela's search for "Buck Alaskan Guide" and you'll also see the new small and large vantage.
 
Wow! that is nice! The price is kind of scary, though. Only the rich need apply.

When will they finally do the 102 like this?
 
Sweet but to rich for me,just cuz I am frugile... For that kind of cash I'll just sharpen my current knives more often,like paying myself... Lol
