I've been trying to buy one of these for a couple months now. The picture on their website shows the 75th Anniversary 119, but they keep sending me the 2016 version. Finally, after several returns and calls to customer service, they tell me they don't have the 75th version and won't be getting any!!! Does anyone have any information on this knife? Thanks for any help you can offer.

Same problem here. I have the 2016 version sitting next to me as I type this waiting to go back. Drove 80 miles round trip to the store but only found last years. Clerk suggested that to get the new one to try ordering online which I did.... no joy... :(

Wow guy's for the SPS I'm going to do a photoshoot of what you are saying. When they had the AG knife sale a few weeks ago I spent the $$$$ and got a new AG 119 sent to me. Like you I was expecting the 75th version and got last years and the brass was tarnished and the coating had some sheath rub or buffing rubs down to the uncoated steel. I called them on the phone and explained what the catalog shows versus what they sent, the operator said ok I will have another sent out and have a note to let the shipping depart verify they send the new 75th. Cool right?, then she said they were currently out of stock on that one but it would be back in a week. as promised the knife arrived this week. Better call them back asap and get an operator who knows what they are doing!

I am driving by a Cabela's in a couple hours. I will stop by and see what they have.

I just spent 20 minutes on the phone with CS and they were clueless. I'm not feeling real good about my chances, but I ordered again (4th time)...I'll call tomorrow when the A Team is on the job.

I had been wanting one for awhile and waiting for a sale. Like you, I jumped on the sale last week so we must have ordered at the same time. Cosmetically, mine is perfect, just not a 75th.

Well had too much stuff to get done on Sunday and never had time for photo's for the SPS show. So I'll just drop the AG 119 photo's in this thread as it is they are the main topic.

Placed the order for the AG 119 75th issue as that is what Cabela's is showing in their catalogs and fliers. But, they sent me the 2016 issue and it had tarnished brass (no big deal). However, also had rub or buff marks on the finger cutout just beyond the guard (still just cosmetic). I called and asked that they send me what I ordered and that was the knife pictured in the catalog, they made good on my order.

Here is some photo's

All I can get from Cabela's is a recording menu and never get to talk with a person....

Is the AG 119 still a hollow grind? I bought the AG Vanguard and it is more like a flat grind and much thicker behind the the edge compared to 420HC version.
