Desert Ironwood Alaskan Guide 192? I know Buck did some Desert Ironwood 110's , did they ever produce any Vanguards with DI handle ? The AG 192 is such a great knife imho.

Might of made some. You never know what someone will feel like producing some days as a build out or something.
Cool knife.

I've never seen them listed with DI the AG series was at one time Rosewood or a laminate ... (Heritage Walnut Dymalux) ... or rubber ... think all are the laminate or rubber only anymore.

I don't remember ever seeing a 192 Ironwood AG. I do know they issued a 110 & 196 Ironwood AG version back in 2009, can be seen on the Joe H BCCI new letter SO list of March 2010.

Here is a photo of the 110 variation

Here are a few more version's

I have a 110 and a 192 both Alaskan Guide series. I love em. They were my first s30v blade steel knives. Mine are rosewood laminate and I really like the dark rich color. It seems I saw a fixed blade AG knife on display that had ironwood but can’t remember when or where and maybe it was another build out that had a black blade. It had some nice burl figure in the wood grain.

Nice collection there. Looks great with the black blades.

I have the Alaskan Guide 110 in Desert Ironwood. I think I got it in late 2010. It was already out of production and a very nice employee of Cabelas tracked it down for me on their computer at a store in the Northeast. I remember calling the store and manager told me yeah I have one but you may not want it because this one was signed on the blade by Chuck Buck. Lol, I couldn't get my card out fast enough.
