This is a knife I hated to see leave my house...She was nice :)

This knife will go into the Alaskan wilderness to see some Bear or Moose skinning duties. Cant wait for the field test images to be sent to me. It will be some time so look for a post on how she did around fall.

Cant wait to see how she does :D

Good deal Brian. :D Keep us updated with some feedback. One of my D2 semi-skinners was in Idaho back in May on a black bear hunt. Got some great feedback.

As a self heat treater I am always nervous about that portion of the process. He says that he sent the edge through 4" of hide that he had and it was still shaving so we'll see! :D

That is a really nice utility / food prep blade, the edge is inline with the handle so you can work full to a cutting surface, excellent primary profile, handle looks ergonomic and decently focused without the extreme of losing versatility. I would want more of a guard for some work, but a lot of makers run such knives without them. Is this O1? How hard are you running the edge? Is the spine annealed or spring hard?
