These seem to be gone pretty much everywhere. Are these going to be full production knives, and they are just currently sold out everywhere? Or were they a one time run? I ask because I love the look of this knife, and based on everything I have seen it is a knife I would love to use.

I know this thread is several months old and sorry I don't have an answer for you. Instead I would like to add another question for anyone who might know.
If there is a second run of these, does anyone know if Boker plans on fixing the blade play/lock rock issue on this knife?
It seems that the steep angle of the blade tang is what causes it, even if a knife doesn't have the blade play to begin with, from all of the reviews I have seen the albotros eventually develops this problem.
It's really to bad because it is a great looking knife made with good materials, just s crappy design flaw.

Interested in the answer as well, since I've seen them on the market again- Blade HQ. Thinking about picking one up.

not sure if there was a second one that addressed the extremely steep tang angle and eventual lock rock which developes... countycomm still has some for sale i believe. you can have the lock face carbidized by several members of the board as well as a few youtube entities. when i owned one i disassembled and slightly bent the lockbar in and mines never developed lockrock from casual carry... it was never a knife that got used or carried by me for that matter. beautiful knife but a choadish pocket boat anchor :)
