Ok, this has nothing to do with Monty Python, other than my own personal sense of humour was warped specifically by those wacky Britons, resulting in a life full of tasteless and cringy puns.
This is a little knife that was made to be carried via a neck lanyard, (manly description of a necklace) around your neck, or via aftermarket clip in your pocket. You could also lash it to a pack or whatnot with some paracord or whatever, through any or all of the 4 holes punched through the sheath.
The blade is made from AEB-L, about .129" thick. The handle is G10, held in place with two brass pins, the rearward one being slightly larger so that a lanyard can easily be affixed.
The sheath is 9oz leather, dyed and waxed, with removable snaps for the neck lanyard. The lanyard is made from kevlar cord, and is adjustable. Waxed thread is used to provide friction to the lanyard so that it maintains the proper adjustment. The snap tabs are 9oz leather.
When worn around the neck, the snaps will allow the thing to disengage if snagged or pulled hard enough. You wouldn't want your neck encircled by an unbreakable length of kevlar cord as you're sliding down some slope and then have that cord get snagged by a root. There is a lot of useful cordage in that neck lanyard; the waxed polyester is particularly useful as fishing or trap making cord, and it also burns even when wet.
The sheath has a fairly light draw, it's perfect for pocket carry. If you're really bouncing around a lot, the knife could fall out. The window handle design allows a foolproof way to guarantee that the knife will stay put via a little tie down cord. However, because the sheath is waxed, it can be heated a bit in order to tighten things up.
