Alcohol wipe on aluminum

Is it safe to clean an aluminum Benchmade handle such as the 940 with an Alcohol wipe?

Yep.

Just don't use lye or liquid plumber. Or anything corrosive. Aluminum is pretty corrosion resistant as it oxidizes very fast, and that oxide is very hard.

I mean will it effect the green anodized finish on a 940?

It will be ok. It should be resistant to most chemicals.

I use 70% isopropyl alcohol and black anodized aluminum at work all the time. Never had a problem with it.
